The Neutrog Sudden Impact for Roses is a high-performance, organic-based, and chemically boosted fertiliser specifically formulated to maximise the health and flowering potential of roses and other flowering and fruiting plants (excluding natives).
This unique product combines the best of slow-release organic nutrition—derived from composted chicken manure, blood and bone, fish meal, and seaweed extracts—with fast-acting water-soluble nutrients.4 This blend ensures both immediate results and sustained feeding for robust plant vigour and soil health.5
Key Benefits:
- Explosive Flowering: Promotes a significant increase in the quantity and quality of blooms, resulting in larger, more colourful, and longer-lasting flowers.6
- Enhanced Health: Improves the plant’s overall health and increases its natural resistance to common fungal diseases like black spot, rust, and powdery mildew, potentially reducing the need for chemical spraying by up to two-thirds.7
- Balanced NPK: The typical NPK ratio is 9:4:12, complemented by a full range of secondary nutrients, including boosted levels of Iron (8$\text{Fe}$) and Magnesium (9$\text{Mg}$), essential for rich, green foliage and strong growth.10
Application Rates (Pellet Form):
- Established Rose Bushes: Apply 100g per bush every 8–10 weeks throughout the growing season (from signs of new growth through to the end of autumn).11
- Established Potted Roses: Apply 15g per 150mm pot, plus an extra 5g for every 25mm pot size increase.12
- Application Method: Apply evenly to pre-soaked soil around the drip line of the plant.13 Water in well after application.14 Crucially, keep the fertiliser at least 20cm away from the base of the plant and avoid contact with foliage or flowers.15
- Winter Feeding: It is recommended to apply Neutrog Seamungus instead during the winter dormant period.
