• Native to Asia, magnolias are ancient flowering plants that existed before bees evolved, originally pollinated by beetles. This White Caviar variety is prized for its distinctive textured blooms.
• Grows as a medium-sized deciduous tree with a rounded canopy, typically reaching 4-6 metres in Australian gardens. The smooth grey bark adds winter interest when leaves have fallen.
• Beloved by gardeners for its spectacular spring flower display that occurs before leaves emerge, creating maximum visual impact. The blooms are also excellent for cut flower arrangements.
