Davallia Hare's Foot

• Native to Fiji and other Pacific islands, growing as an epiphyte on trees and rocks in humid forests. Also found throughout tropical Asia and Australia.
• The fuzzy, creeping rhizomes store water and nutrients, allowing the plant to survive dry periods better than most ferns. These 'feet' are the plant's main attraction.
• Produces delicate, triangular fronds that can reach 30cm long, creating a beautiful cascading effect from hanging containers. New growth emerges from the creeping rhizomes.
