• Produces unique flowers with white petals and prominent red stamens, followed by oval green fruit that ripens to aromatic sweetness.
• Self-fertile but produces better fruit crops when cross-pollinated with another variety.
• Beloved for its drought tolerance, attractive silvery foliage, and dual-purpose ornamental and edible qualities.
• Can live for decades and becomes more productive with age, making it an excellent long-term garden investment.

• Water weekly during establishment, then reduce to fortnightly deep watering once roots are established.
• Position in full sun for best flowering and fruiting, though will tolerate some afternoon shade in hot climates.
• Plant in well-draining soil enriched with compost, avoiding heavy clay or constantly wet areas.
• Apply slow-release fertiliser in early spring and liquid feed monthly during growing season.
• Prune lightly in late winter to shape, removing crossing branches and maintaining desired height.
• Mulch around base to conserve moisture and suppress weeds, keeping mulch away from trunk.
• In colder areas, protect young plants from harsh frosts until well-established.

• Provide full sun to partial shade, with morning sun being essential for good flowering and fruit development.
• Water deeply but infrequently, allowing soil to dry between waterings as established plants are quite drought tolerant.
