Hedera Ivy

• Native to Europe and western Asia, Hedera Ivy has been cultivated for centuries as an ornamental climbing plant. It's prized for its ability to quickly cover unsightly surfaces with dense, attractive foliage.
• Features distinctive lobed leaves that vary from deep green to variegated patterns depending on variety. The vigorous climbing habit uses aerial roots to attach to surfaces naturally.
• Extremely hardy and adaptable, tolerating poor soils, pollution, and neglect better than most plants. Gardeners love its reliability and year-round evergreen coverage.
• Can live for decades and become quite substantial, creating impressive living walls or ground cover carpets. Popular for both indoor and outdoor landscaping applications.

• Water weekly during growing season, allowing soil to dry slightly between waterings - reduce to fortnightly in winter. Check soil moisture with finger test before watering.
• Position in bright, indirect light indoors or partial shade outdoors - morning sun with afternoon protection is ideal. Avoid deep shade which reduces growth.

• Scale insects can appear as small brown bumps on stems and leaves - treat with horticultural oil or insecticidal soap spray. Check regularly and isolate affected plants to prevent spread.
• Aphids may cluster on new growth causing yellowing leaves - spray off with water or use neem oil treatment. Encourage beneficial insects like ladybirds for natural control.
