Magnolia Grandiflora (Kay Paris)

• Native to southeastern United States, Magnolia Grandiflora Kay Paris is a specially selected cultivar known for its compact growth habit and exceptional flowering performance in Australian gardens.
• Features large, leathery evergreen leaves up to 25cm long with glossy dark green tops and distinctive rusty-bronze undersides that create beautiful contrast.
• Produces enormous fragrant white flowers up to 30cm across that bloom from late spring through summer, filling gardens with sweet citrus-like perfume.
• Grows as a pyramidal evergreen tree reaching 8-12 metres tall and 4-6 metres wide at maturity, making it smaller than standard Grandiflora varieties.

• Water deeply once or twice weekly during growing season, allowing soil to dry slightly between waterings. Reduce frequency in winter months when growth slows.
• Plant in full sun to partial shade position with well-draining, slightly acidic to neutral soil enriched with organic matter.
• Feed with slow-release fertiliser in early spring and again in mid-summer to support healthy growth and abundant flowering.

• Provide full sun to partial shade with at least 6 hours of direct sunlight daily for best flowering and foliage colour. Morning sun with afternoon protection works well in hot Australian climates.
