Mango Alphonso

• Originally from the Konkan region of India, Alphonso mangoes are prized worldwide for their superior flavour and creamy texture. This cultivar has been grown for centuries and remains the gold standard for mango quality.
• Trees can reach 10-15 metres in ideal conditions but respond well to pruning and container growing. The dense, dark green foliage provides excellent shade and year-round appeal.
• Fruit typically ripens in late spring to early summer, producing golden-yellow mangoes weighing 200-300 grams each. The flesh is incredibly sweet with minimal fibre and intense tropical aroma.
