• The near-black leaves are its most prized feature, providing year-round colour contrast. Small purple flowers appear in summer, followed by dark berries.
• Gardeners love Black Mondo for its low maintenance requirements and dramatic visual impact. It's drought tolerant once established and rarely needs pruning.
• This slow-growing perennial spreads by underground rhizomes, eventually forming attractive colonies. It's perfect for creating bold garden statements or accent plantings.
