Portulacaria Afra Variegated

• Native to South Africa, this succulent is prized for its striking cream and green variegated foliage. The thick, fleshy leaves store water making it extremely drought tolerant. It's commonly known as Variegated Elephant Bush or Rainbow Bush.
• Forms an attractive shrub or small tree with thick, woody stems that branch naturally. Can reach 2-3 metres in ideal outdoor conditions but stays compact in containers. Perfect for bonsai styling and topiary work.
• Loved for its low maintenance requirements and ability to thrive in various conditions. The variegated foliage brightens any space and the plant responds well to pruning. Extremely popular with succulent collectors and beginners alike.

• Water deeply every 7-10 days in summer, reducing to monthly in winter. Allow soil to dry completely between waterings and always check soil moisture first. Overwatering is the most common cause of problems.
• Place in bright, indirect light indoors or morning sun positions outdoors. Protect from harsh afternoon sun which can fade variegation and scorch leaves. Rotate regularly for balanced growth.
