Rose Golden Beauty Bush

• Originally developed from hybrid tea and garden rose breeding programs to create the perfect golden-flowered bush rose. The variety was selected for Australian conditions and climate adaptability.
• Features large, fully double golden-yellow blooms that reach 8-10cm across with a classic rose fragrance. Flowers appear in flushes from spring through autumn on strong, upright stems.
• Grows as a compact, rounded bush reaching 1.2-1.5 meters tall and wide with glossy, dark green foliage. The plant develops a well-branched structure that supports abundant flower production.
• Gardeners love this rose for its reliable flowering performance, disease tolerance, and ability to thrive in Australian conditions. Perfect for cutting gardens and mixed borders.

• Water 2-3 times weekly during growing season, reducing to weekly in winter - check soil moisture 5cm deep before watering. Apply water at soil level to avoid wetting foliage.
• Position in full sun location receiving 6+ hours direct sunlight daily for best flowering and plant health. Some afternoon shade acceptable in extreme heat areas.
• Plant in well-draining, fertile soil enriched with compost and aged manure - pH between 6.0-7.0 is ideal. Ensure excellent drainage to prevent root problems.
• Feed monthly with rose fertiliser from spring to autumn, supplementing with liquid fertiliser every 2 weeks during peak growing season. Apply slow-release fertiliser in early spring.
• Prune in late winter removing dead, diseased wood and shaping plant - cut back by one-third for vigorous growth. Deadhead spent blooms regularly to encourage repeat flowering.
• Mulch around base with organic matter to retain moisture and regulate soil temperature. Keep mulch 10cm away from plant stem to prevent pest harboring.

• Provide full sun exposure for at least 6 hours daily to encourage maximum flowering and healthy growth. Morning sun with some afternoon protection works well in extreme heat areas.
• Water deeply at soil level 2-3 times weekly, allowing soil to dry slightly between waterings. Avoid wetting foliage to prevent fungal diseases.
• Maintain moderate humidity around the plant through mulching and morning watering. Good air circulation prevents humidity-related problems.
• Tolerates temperatures from 5°C to 35°C but protect from frost and extreme heat above 40°C. In summer, provide afternoon shade in hottest regions.
• Prune in late winter, fertilise monthly during growing season, and reduce watering in winter dormancy period.

• Aphids can cluster on new growth and flower buds - spray with insecticidal soap or encourage beneficial insects like ladybirds. Regular inspection of shoot tips helps catch infestations early.
• Black spot fungal disease causes dark spots on leaves - ensure good air circulation and avoid overhead watering. Remove affected foliage promptly and apply fungicidal spray if needed.
• Thrips damage creates silvery streaks on petals and leaves - use blue sticky traps and beneficial predatory mites. Severe infestations may require systemic insecticide treatment.
