• Themeda Triandra Australis is an iconic native Australian grass found across most of the continent in grasslands and open woodlands. It was once the dominant grass species across vast areas of southeastern Australia.
• This perennial tussock grass features fine-textured, arching foliage that grows in dense clumps, creating beautiful textural contrast in the garden. The flowering stems rise above the foliage in summer, adding vertical interest.
• Gardeners love Kangaroo Grass for its seasonal colour changes, from fresh green in spring to stunning copper and bronze tones in cooler months. Its drought tolerance and wildlife value make it essential for sustainable Australian gardens.
