Lime Sunrise

• Native to tropical regions, Lime Sunrise is a hybrid variety developed for superior flavour and extended fruiting season. It adapts well to Australian subtropical and temperate climates.
• Produces medium-sized, oval fruit that changes from green to golden-yellow when fully ripe. The juice is exceptionally sweet with lower acidity than traditional limes.
• Grows as a small to medium tree with dense, glossy foliage and thorny branches. Can reach 3-4 metres in ideal conditions but responds well to pruning.
• Beloved by home gardeners for its reliable cropping, cold tolerance, and ornamental value throughout the year.

• Water deeply once or twice weekly, allowing soil to dry between waterings - increase during fruit development and hot summer months.
• Position in full sun with at least 6 hours direct sunlight daily for best fruit production and tree health.
• Plant in well-draining, slightly acidic soil with good organic matter - use quality citrus potting mix for containers.
• Feed monthly with citrus fertiliser from September to March, reducing to every 6-8 weeks in winter.
• Prune lightly after harvest to maintain shape and remove dead wood - avoid heavy pruning which reduces fruiting.
• Maintain good air circulation around the plant and avoid overhead watering to prevent fungal issues.
• Protect from frost in winter and provide shelter from strong winds year-round.
